Green Valley homes have an array of styles, lending themselves to the desert environment, the views of the mountains and valley, and mostly to their occupants. Although square footage varies, most of our homes and townhomes are single level, with two bedrooms and two baths. Many of the homes built when computers became commonplace also include a den/office. Southwestern, Santa Fe, Alamos or Territorial styling makes single family homes in Green Valley very desirable. Single family homes range in size from approximately 1,300 to over 3,000 square feet. Green Valley boasts an abundance of townhomes. Each unit shares at least one common wall, which may be with a carport, garage or an adjacent unit. Townhomes are designed to maximize the privacy of the individual patios/backyards. Green Valley townhomes range in size from approximately 1,000 to over 3,000 square feet. Located near the center of Green Valley and within close proximity to the golf courses are the Casitas. These generally are designed as groups of 1 and 2 bedroom units, with each small group clustered around a common, shared courtyard. Casitas, at about 600 to 700 square feet are small, fully functioning homes and many times are sold fully furnished. Green Valley condos are also known as Villas. These are the original villas from which Green Valley has grown. They feature a unique, single-story, southwestern style architecture with walled-in front patios, and come as one or two bedroom units. Many of these are also sold furnished. Green Valley golf is one of the main reasons people move here. All of the golf courses have homes, both townhomes and single-family homes, lining the course, in both gated and non-gated communities. Possibly the number one attraction to Green Valley is Green Valley Recreation, Inc. With 13 recreation centers, and activities too many to mention, no one is left wanting for something to do.
Surrounding Green Valley are many interesting and beautiful communities and developments. Adjacent to and directly to the north and east of Green Valley is the town of Sahuarita.
